About tatvamazi
Tat Tvam Asi.
The name draws from the Sanskrit expression Tat Tvam Asi, "You are Brahman", reflecting the intimate relationship between the individual and the greater field of nature.
Our work begins with traditional botanical intelligence: the rasa, guna, virya, vipaka of a plant, its relationship with dosha, and its use across generations. We then examine what modern science can establish, from phytochemistry and molecular pathways to cellular biology and human evidence. Tatvamazi therefore moves through a continuum of Ayurvedic observation, phytochemistry, molecular biology, cellular research and human evidence, without confusing traditional knowledge with clinical proof.
Tatvamazi is neither an attempt to modernise Ayurveda by removing its language, nor to legitimise tradition by attaching scientific terminology to it. It is an inquiry into where these two bodies of knowledge genuinely meet.
